5: First chance of the game goes to the hosts as Mo Kamara’s ball over the top finds Henry Muggeridge, who is unable to keep the ball down and it sails over

8: Burgess Hill answers back as Michael Uwezu flicks the ball onto Lewis Finney from a throw in, but he the shot goes wide of the mark

17: Calls for a penalty for Whitehawk as Muggeridge holds up the ball well and is brought down, but the referee deems it to be outside the area and awards a free kick

22: Uwezu works the ball into a dangerous area for Burgess Hill, but he fires wide

24: Max Miller gets played into space on the right for the visitors and squares the ball into Connor Tighe, who forces a save from Stroomberg

26: Off the crossbar! Burgess Hill are denied by the woodwork as they work a short corner to Tighe, who’s curling effort is rattles the Whitehawk crossbar

28: A Burgess Hill free kick is whipped into the area by Tighe, and Josh Spinks is only able to hit the side netting from close range

36: Great save! Miller gets in another dangerous ball to Finney, who’s diving header forces a full stretch save from Stroomberg. He’s keeping Whitehawk in this game at the moment!

41: Whitehawk force Taylor Seymour into his first save as Splatt brings down a brilliant ball over the top, but the finish is stopped by the Burgess Hill number one

It’s been a good watch so far at the TerraPura Ground, with Burgess Hill having the bulk of the chances so far
Whitehawk make their feelings known towards any form of abuse at football matches, making for a family-friendly atmosphere

Second Half Kick Off

64: Whitehawk have dominated this second half, and they almost found the breakthrough when Lambert’s low ball in the Muggeridge was missed, and Okoh followed up with a shot straight at Seymour

66: Another chance for the hosts as Splatt’s ball into the danger area caused problems for Burgess Hill but they managed to scramble the ball away to safety

75: A curling effort from Connor Tighe forces another save from Stroomberg

83: What a save! Reggie Ward lets fly from long range, but once again the away side are denied by Stroomberg. What a game he’s having!

85: A misplaced pass at the back allowed Kelly to get a shot away but it is taim and causes no problems for Stroomberg and Whitehawk

88: Massive chance! Kamara has a free header from a Whitehawk corner but gets no direction on it, and it sails over. A massive let off for Burgess Hill!

Full Time: Whitehawk 0-0 Burgess Hill

It finishes goalless in Whitehawk, with both sides having good enough chances to win the game. Brilliant performances from Seymour and Stroomberg to keep the ball out of their respective nets.
