Neither team managed to find a goal to clinch the win tonight. Both teams played well but it was the strength of the goalkeepers that managed to keep the ball out at both ends of the pitch.

Hello, my name is Holly Price and tonight I’m going to be taking you through the Whitehawk v Burgess Hill game and keeping you up to date with all the action.

19:10 The Team line-ups are out

Whitehawk are starting their star man at the moment Javaun Splatt. We will have to see if he can pull off any clinical strikes from range like last time out.

They’ve also gone with the new kid on the block Charlie Lambert, who made his debut last game for the Hawks.

Burgess Hill are also coming in feeling confident after their 4-2 win over Ramsgate on Saturday. They decide to make only one change to the starting line-up that they used against Ramsgate with Jaden Perez coming in to replace Trey Masikini.

3 min Burgess Hill are struggling to keep the ball early on. Most of the possession has gone Whitehawk’s way as they refuse to let it out of Burgess Hill’s half.

6 min After all their possession Whitehawk can’t seem to make it count as their first cross is poor

22 min chance! Max Miller sends a shot across the face of the goal for Burgess Hill but Stroomberg manages to get a hand to it.

26 min chance! Tighe hits the crossbar after Burgess Hill take

31 min Whitehawk are left claiming for a foul just outside the box but the ref calls play on

34 min Burgess Hill now seem to really be searching for that first goal as they start to really put pressure on Whitehawk’s defence

35 min chance! Stroomberg again staying calm under pressure as he stretches to block a shot from 5 yards out

38 min Now it’s Whitehawks chance to apply pressure as Muggeridge drives his man out of the box to get a throw in

41 min Muggeridge takes a shot from outside the box and forces Taylor Seymour into a save which results in a Whitehawk corner

45 min one minute of extra time added

HT 0-0 both teams will be coming back out searching for that elusive first goal after a pretty equal first half

46 min the second half is underway here at the TerraPura ground

48 min Seymour sends the ball down the field hoping to reach one of his own but the ball ends up in the clutches of the Whitehawk defenders again

50 min The ball is sent sailing over the top of the bar as Whitehawk goes to make a shot on goal

64 min chance Lambert makes a driving run down the right and crosses the ball into the box. Muggeridge nearly gets a toe to it but it instead falls to Okoh but his shot is dealt with by Seymour.

66 min substitution! Harding comes on for Burgess Hill as Finney heads of the pitch

70 min yellow card! The first yellow of the match is given to Okoh after he makes a cynical challenge on Miller. There are shouts for a red card from the Burgess Hill fans in the ground

72 min substitution! Okoh leaves the pitch and Fraser comes on to replace him for Whitehawk

76 min chance! Burgess Hill’s Tighe makes a shot on goal which results in a corner after Stroomberg just get’s it away. Tighe takes the corner which Stroomberg then has to punch away from the goal

80 min substitution! Whitehawk takes of Lambert for the last ten minutes and sends Clark on

10 minutes left and both teams are applying the pressure- Whitehawk v Burgess Hill

88 min chance! Kamara finds space to try and head the ball into the back of the net from the penalty spot but it isn’t on target

FT: Whitehawk 0-0 Burgees Hill: Neither side are able to find the back of net despite both teams having chances to do so. It ends a point a piece at the TerraPurra Ground.
