Everybody’s Talking About Jamie: 7 Dec 2021 – 2 Jan 2022

If you’re looking to dive into theatres this Christmas, why not go and watch the highly acclaimed, hit musical Everybody’s Talking About Jamie! Starring Layton Williams as Jamie New, this feel-good musical hits the Theatre Royal on Tuesday 7th December 2021 until Sunday 2nd January 2022. Aladdin: 22 Dec 2021 – 27 Dec 2021

It wouldn’t be a traditional Christmas without a panto. Brighton production company E3 takes the stage on Wednesday 22nd December 2021 to Monday 27th December 2021 at Old Peking in Brighton centre. Come and join Wishee-Washee, Widow Twankey and of course Aladdin as they try to defeat the evil Abanazar, who knows, they may even need your help. Alcotraz Christmas Convictions: 7 Dec 2021 – 24 Dec 2021

Why not spend a night behind bars in a Christmas-themed evening at Alcotraz. Named after the famous prison just off the coast of San Francisco, this convict-inspired bar is like no other. Spend the evening behind bars, being served cocktails by prison guards using the Alcohol that you bring in! Be creative in your attempts to sneak in your drinks however one things is for certain, make sure the warden doesn’t catch you.

Brighton Santa Dash: 11 Dec 2021

If you’re feeling festively-active this Christmas then why not sign up for Brighton’s annual Santa Dash. This 5k run will take you west along the Seafront Eslpanade, taking you to Hove Lagoon, your half-way point, where you will loop round and head back. The big event kicks off at 12:30 and feel free to bring your children before-hand as they can enter for free into a 400m race where all participants get a medal. Get your Santa suits on Brighton because it’s time to get active.

Christmas Market: 26 Nov 2021 – 24 Dec 2021

Some may argue that Christmas isn’t complete without a market. And, in accordance to the going’s on in Brighton, that argument would be correct. The Brighton Christmas festival – which takes place all the way from St. Peter’s Church to the Viktoria Fountain in Old Stein up until December 24 – includes a classic market consisting of mulled wine, hot chocolate, festive food, and gifts perfectly suited for a family member. And if that doesn’t convince you, then the winter cocktails certainly will. 

North Laine: 1 Dec 2021 – 26 Dec 2021

Away from the brisk breeze of the Brighton seafront is the discreet beauty of the North Laine made even more attractive by the addition of Christmas lights during the festive season. Surrounded by local businesses, the North Laine is an ideal place to complete your Christmas shopping. The personal touch of local business brings with it a community feeling of warmth whilst you’re encircled by the decor of a Brighton Christmas.

Christmas Festival: 26 Nov 2021 – 25 Dec 2021

From a Ferris wheel all the way to arcade games on various stalls, the Brighton Christmas Festival will not leave you feeling bored throughout December. It represents the perfect day out of festive joy for the welcome price of nothing if you fancy just taking in the scenery. Located within the festival is a Christmas market (see above), which offers food and drink such as Mulled wine and winter cocktails. A must visit, the Christmas festival epitomises the season of giving in Brighton. 

Royal Pavilion Ice Rink: 30 Oct 2021 – 9 Jan 2022

This stunning, child-friendly ice rink is a perfect idea to kick-start your Christmas in style, not to mention that the ice is powered entirely by Green energy! Not a fan of skating but still want to enjoy the festivities? Not to worry, the Rinkside Bar & kitchen is full of festive treats, such as mulled wine and mince pies. The Royal Pavilion Ice Rink is open for the public until January 9th 2022, so get your skates on!

Fly with Father Christmas on the i360: 11 Dec 2021 – 24 Dec 2021

Get a gift and a photo with Santa and his elves, whilst experiencing the beauty of Brighton at 450ft. The pleasure of seeing the sea and the Christmas street lights, at a bird’s eye view, is well worth the money! The tower opened on the 4th August 2016 and has been a hit with the public ever since.
