Home   /   Son and Kane slice through Leeds

Harry Kane and Son Heung-Min achieved the record of the most goal combinations in premier league history with 37, overtaking Frank Lampard and Didier Drogba.

Kane played a delightful ball over the top to Son and the South-Korean smashed home to make it 4-0 to Spurs in the 85th minute and achieve the record.

Spurs were three goals ahead within 30 minutes with some ruthless finishing.

It was a suprise goalscorer for the first goal for the North London side; Ryan Sessegnon was played in behind and crossed it to Matt Doherty who slammed home his first goal for Tottenham in the 10th minute.

Dejan Kuluveski then scored his second goal in three games to put Spurs two goals up in the 5th minute; the former Juventus winger cut inside and fizzed the ball into the near post corner past Illan Meslier.

The England captain made it three with a deft finish into the Leeds goal following a brilliant chipped pass from Pierre-Emile Højbjerg.

Leeds had plenty of chances to try and get back in the game but they were unable to take advantage. Stuart Dallas had an open goal chance but took too long and Ben Davies was able to get a block in.

Raphina also struck the post with a free-kick from just outside the box.

Son converted from Kane’s brilliant pass to finish the game off and secure Spurs a much needed victory.

Antonio Conte will be hoping his side can put a run together now to challenge for a top four spot.
