Real Sociedad and Manchester United find their way to season’s final European League group match with the Spanish team three points in the lead in group E.

United, who lost their last game against Sociedad 0-1, goes into the game without Antony, Jadon Sancho and Anthony Martial.

“Jadon Sancho, he was ill,” confirmed Erik Ten Hag on Manchester United’s website.

Without several of the attacking options for the English outfit, the requires of a two-goal victory to leapfrog the home team, Cristiano Ronaldo is going to be important for the Reds, said Ten Hag.

“Ronaldo is an important part of this group and a leader type,” added the Dutchman.

After winning five of five matches in the group stage, Real Sociedad are in pole position to qualify for the last 16 in head of United.
