Magpies would have never thought they would be top of Group F at this stage with four points, gaining a precious away point at AC Milan and destroying Paris Saint Germain 4-1 at home.

Dortmund’s last win in England goes back to the days of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang in 2016.

The German club sit bottom with one point and have not managed to get themselves on the scoresheet.

In Eddie Howe’s pre-match conference, Howe said about Alexsander Isak: “I thought he was outstanding. Then he picked up a slight groin problem, but I think he’s back to full fitness. He’s trained really well in the build-up to this game.”
