Two second-half goals from Curtis Jones and an own goal from Kean Bryan ended Liverpool’s run of three consecutive loses in the Premier League against Sheffield United.

Jurgen Klopp will have something to smile about now as Liverpool end their drought of poor results in the Premier League. Jones and Roberto Firmino was able to score the goals for Liverpool to secure the three points.

In the first half, Ramsdale played very well keeping the ball out of the net making multiple saves keeping the score nil-nil. The new Liverpool centre back Ozan Kabak blushes were saved in the first half after putting the ball in his own net, luckily for him, the linesman flags went up.

Early in the second half Jones was able to score the first goal in the game after receiving the ball from the right side of the pitch from Trent Alexander-Arnold. Bryan then made things harder for his side putting the ball in the back of his own net deflecting the ball into his own goal.

Thanks to the win Liverpool are two points behind West Ham in fourth place and Sheffield United are still bottom of the league. MOTM in the game goes to Jones who scored the opening goal in the game and controlled the midfield throughout the game. Ramsdale played very well in the game making things are for Liverpool in the Sheffield United goal.
