Eastbourne Borough will be looking to secure their 2nd home victory in a row when they host Chelmsford City at Priory Lane.

The Sports will be looking to push on after their last home result ended with a 2-1 victory over Farnborough – their first win in seven games. Newly appointed manager, Adam Murray, will be hoping that the result will help save the National league South side’s season as they currently find themselves in the relegation zone – six points away from safety.

The former Besiktas assistant manager joined The Sports on 4th January and has so far seen his side pick up only one win from his opening six games.

The East Sussex based side will be going into the game against Chelmsford with no new injury concerns but are still without midfielder Stefan Vukoje after the 22 year old suffered a cruciate ligament injury earlier on in the season.

Top-scorer Decarrey Sheriff will be the player to watch as he hopes to secure victory for the Sports and add to his six league goals this season.

Promotion hopefuls Chelmsford will be hoping to secure their fourth win in six games and hold onto their third place position. The Clarets’ previous result saw an early second-half winner against Weymouth.
