Liverpool take on the Seagulls at the AMEX where they will look to move on from the controversy that occurred at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

Both teams were in action in the Europa League on Thursday, with Brighton drawing 2-2 away at Marseille, and Liverpool winning 2-0 at home to Union St. Gilloise.

Brighton have made their best start ever to the Premier League, winning five out of their seven opening matches. Liverpool have only won one of their last six league clashes with the Seagulls.

When speaking to the press, Reds’ Manager Jurgen Klopp said: “We expect a really tough game against one of the best sides in the league”.

Liverpool: Gakpo, Bajcetic, Thiago (Jones & Jota both suspended – red cards vs Spurs)

If Liverpool win this match, they could climb the table to either second or third, depending on the result of the following match between Arsenal and Manchester City. Brighton could also ascend into the Champions League positions if they can grab a win against the Reds.
