Brazil’s start to the campaign has been strong as they have scored nine in their two wins.

The Brazillians started off with a 5-0 win over Bolivia and a Neymar hattrick to push them over the line in 4-2 win against Peru.

However, Venezuela have opened their campaign with two losses. They were swept aside by Colombia in a 3-0 defeat, whilst Duvan Zapata and Luis Muriel put on quite a show.

Venezuela also lost 1-0 to Peru in their last match at home, falling to a late goal from Gaston Gimenez.

HEAD TO HEAD

Brazil have won 21 out of 26 games against Venezuela before, having lost only three times. Their last meeting was a 0-0 draw.

Gabriel Jesus and goalkeeper Alisson have been added to the squad after previously missing out due to injuries.

Neymar has been named in the Brazil squad, but the superstar has not featured for Paris Saint-Germain in the last few weeks, so he could be a doubt to start this game.

PREDICTION FOR THE MATCH:

Although they are currently suffering from a large amount of injuries, I still expect Brazil to steamroll past Venezuela and dominate the game. They will have too much firepower and their depth will make up for the injuries. Brazil 3-0 Venezuela.
