Good evening, welcome to this important night in who can have a chance of qualifying for the Euros in 2022.

Northern Ireland only need a victory tonight to qualify for the play offs to the Euros. On the other hand, Wales will be hoping the Faroe Islands can do them a favour by beating Northern Ireland and they beat Belarus to progress. Ross Bray reports.

Kick off – NI V FI

4′ Goal – Northern Ireland 0 – 1 Faroe Island (Jensa Kannuberg Tórolvsdóttir)

What a start for Faroe Island! Poor defending by Northern Island as Tórolvsdóttir’s close finish puts them ahead.

6′ – Goal – Northern Island 1 – 1 Faroe Island (Rachel Furness)

A scrappy goal by Northern Ireland but they won’t care! The ball bounces around the area as no Faroe Islands defender clears and Furness reacted the quickest to head it home from a few yards out.

Kick off – WAL v BEL

4′ – WAL v BEL – first attempt of match by Rhiannon Roberts which strays wide.

22′ – NI v FI – Huge chance for Ireland as a diagonal ball to Kirsty McGuiness who feathers it down to Emily Wilson in acres of space but couldn’t get the necessary power on the effort.

27′ – Goal – Northern Ireland 2 – 1 Faroe Island (Kirsty McGuinness)

A fantastic goal from McGuinness with a 20 yard strike from outside the box flies into the goal. Such an important goal which puts them in the driving seat to the play offs.

15′ – Goal – Wales 1 – 0 Belarus (Natasha Harding)

Ball down the right finds Jessica Fishlock as she finds a way through to Harding whose low finish evades the ‘keeper to give Wales the lead.

21′ – WAL v BEL – Scrappy clearance by Belarus as multiple Welsh players try their luck on goal but blocked well by Belarus rear-guard.

24′ – WAL v BEL – Good strike by Sophie Ingle from around 25 yards out testing Nataliya Voskobovich which she claims well.

26′ – WAL v BEL – Substitution – An early change for Belarus as Karina Olkhovic is off for Anastaysia Shlapakova, doesn’t look like an injury but there could be an issue there.

32′ – WAL V BEL – Off the bar! Jessica Fishlock plays a great ball into the middle for Ffian Morgan but her header hits the bar, so close.

Half time – Northern Ireland 2 – 1 Faroe Island.

So far, so good for Northern Ireland after a shortlived setback at the start. They showed great character to get back into the game and are now tasked on holding on to this lead.

34′ – Goal – Wales 2 – 0 Belarus (Rachel Rowe)

Brilliant strike from Rowe at the right of the box as it goes in off the bar into the top corner. Was it a cross or a shot? Only she will know.

44′ – WAL v BEL – Ball over the top for Anastaysia Shcherbachenia but she scuffs her shot wide.

46′ – WAL v BEL – Great block by 14 as Belarus seek a way back into this game. Ball into Shcherbachenia blocked well which keeps it 2-0.

Half time – Wales 2 – 0 Faroe Island.

Wales will be satisfied with the lead as they chase Northern Ireland. They’ve looked bright, hitting the bar and having a few attempts that another day would’ve found the net. They will have half their sights on the Northern Ireland game as they hope for a turnaround from Faroe Islands.

Second Half – Northern Ireland 2 – 1 Faroe Islands.

48′ – NI v FI – Huge chance for Ireland as Marissa Callahan pounces onto the rebound in space but couldn’t get sufficient contact on it.

54′ – NI v FI – Furness has a speculative shot from 30 yards out blocked well.

56′ – NI v FI – Lauren Wade cuts in down the right and drives a shot at goal blocked with many handball claims waved away by the referee.

56′ – Goal – Northern Ireland 3 – 1 (Chloe McCarron)

A spectacular strike by McCarron as she hits it from 30 yards and Oluva Joensen couldn’t get near it.

Kick off – Wales 2 – 0 Belarus.

45′ – WAL v BEL – Substitution – half time change for Belarus as Anastasia Shlapakova is on for Ksenia Kubichnaya.

53′ – WAL v BEL – Heavy touch by Voskobovich puts it out of play. From the resulting throw, Rowe tangles with Anastaysia Linnik in the box but the referee waves play on.

64′ – NI v FI – Double substitution – Samantha Kelly replaces Ashley Hutton and Caitlin McGuinness is on for Wilson.

69′ – NI v FI – Ireland holding onto the ball well as they look for a fourth to all but kill this game off, Wade is called offside as she tries getting in behind down the right hand side.

70′ – NI v FI – Double substitution – Faroe Island make a double change as Mona Rasmusdottir and Lea Lisberg are on for Julia Mortensen and Olga Hansen.

76′ – NI v FI – Substitution – Joely Andrews is on for Nadene Caldwell for Northern Ireland.

77′ – Goal – Northern Ireland 4 – 1 Faroe Island (Kirsty McGuinness)

A scrappy goal by Northern Island but they don’t care. A close finish from McGuinness from 10 yards out finds the net. Job all but done.

70′ – WAL v BEL – Rowe tried a speculative effort from 20 yards out but flies wide.

71′ – WAL v BEL – Substitution – Lily Woodham on for Charlotte Escourt.

72′ – WAL v BEL – Penalty – Harding brought down by Anastasia Linnik in the box and the referee didn’t hesitate to give the spot kick. Linnik is booked as a result.

73′ – Goal – Wales 3 – 0 Belarus (Jessica Fishlock)

Fishlock converts the penalty as she smashes it left past Voskobovich.

73′ – WAL v BEL – Substitution – Belarus make a change as Melana Surovtseva is on for Anastasia Shuppo.

84′ – NI v FI – Double substitution – Toni Finnegan and Danielle Maxwell are on for Wade and Marissa Callaghan.

87′ – Goal – Northern Ireland 5 – 1 Faroe Islands (Jacoba Langgaard og)

88′ – NI v FI – Double substitution – Faroe Islands make a double change as Sarita Mittfoss and Durita Hummeland are on for Kara Djurhuss and Sara Lamhauge.

Another goal for Furness hits a loose ball from a tight angle at the back post as it goes in off Langgaard on the line.

79′ – WAL v BEL – Substitution – Wales make another change as Georgie Walters comes on for Morgan

91′ – NI v FI – Substitution – Faroe Islands make their last change as Marita Jarnskor is on for Sanna Jacobsen.

94′ – NI v FI – Yellow Card – Elisabet Vang gets a late yellow after tugging on Furness’ shirt.

Full time – Northern Ireland 5 – 1 Faroe Island.

Fantastic performance by Northern Ireland who got the job done tonight. A win was all that they needed and they delivered. They reach the play offs for the Euros ahead of Wales.

Heartbreak for Wales after a convincing performance gave them the win but do not progress to the play offs. Northern Ireland got the job done so Wales have to pick themselves up and look to the future.
