Home   /   Spurs vs Fulham: match preview

Some more Monday night football entertainment tonight at Craven Cottage with Fulham taking on Spurs at 8pm,  with both sides in pursuit of European football and Fulham chasing their dream of Europe, after not playing in it for 12 years.

Fulham hope to carry their momentum at home.

Marco Silva’s Fulham have been in flying form, winning 4 of their last 5 league games, including a 2-1 derby win against Chelsea and currently sit 2 points and 2 places behind Spurs, who have only won 1 of their last 5 games. Conte will need the 3 points tonight if he wants any chance of Champions League football, with Brighton in close contention.

Conte’s last game featured the 4-2 loss to City

Star man Harry Kane under serious pressure to sign his contract, with only one year left and interest shown from Man United and still no trophies won, this game is vital for his hopes of staying in North London.

Bryan Gil still in question for his return, after he missed out on the City game and Lucas Moura still out with a Tendon injury and in a “critical condition that is very difficult”, according to Conte in January.

Fulham have a very small injury list, with only Neeskens Kebano out with a leg injury and no return date. Fulham are likely to line up in a similar fashion to their last game against Newcastle, with main men Pereira, Willian likely to feature. Also bagsman Mitrovic, even despite his penalty miss against Newcastle, Silva still shows trust in him: “If it will be Mitro again, we have all the confidence in him.” “It’s a decision for me to take on the matchday, but I have full confidence if Mitro has to go again”.
