Spurs secured first away win in last 12 months

 Tottenham Hotspurs won in a hard-fought match against Brighton and Hove Albion at Amex on Sunday, October 15th.

Tottenham Hotspur Ladies came back from a goal down which is in the eighth minute of the game and registered their first away in last 12 months by scored three goals in 45+2, 64th and 90+2 minutes respectively.

Elisabeth Terland scored her third goal of the season and first of the match for Brighton and Hove Albion Women at eighth minute and they took lead 1-0. After scoring their first goal Brighton looked more confident and Elisabeth Terland tried to score her second goal of the match in 14th minute by receiving a corner from Maisie Symonds but it was stopped by Becky Spencer.

Spurs dominated from 20th minute searching for the equaliser. Guro Bergsvand defended Spurs effort to equalise. Spurs had four corners in the span four minutes as they started to attacking back.

Tottenham Spurs were in control in the first half other than their only mistake in the start. Martha Thomas scored the equaliser at 45+2 minutes and finished the first half with a bang.

Brighton started the second half with an attacking mode by subs Madison Haley and Lee Geum-min but England U23 star Grace Clinton found the net in 64th minute and gave Tottenham hotspur an unassailable lead which was extended by the substitute Ria Percival in 90+2 minutes. Brighton tried hard to share the spoil but Tottenham Hotspur were brilliant with the ball and earn three points on Sunday night.
