Hello all, my name is Ishaaq and you’re more than welcome to have a read through of my live-blog of Sunday’s action between Rochdale and Notts County in the first round of the FA Cup, which ended in a stalemate resulting to a replay.

3′ BOOKING FOR NOTTS COUNTY- Dion Kelly-Evans is shown the first yellow of the game after a clumsy challenge, 0-0

16′ First chance of the game for Rochdale’s Abraham Odoh with his shot from the edge of the box narrowly missing the target- it’s been a rather scrappy start to the game with both teams conceding constant fouls, 0-0

22′ Notts County’s Jim O’Brian’s effort is well blocked- The game is beginning to open up, 0-0

24′ Notts County break quickly after a Rochdale corner, but Joel Taylor’s long range strike goes just wide of the far post, 0-0

31′ Rochdale appear to gaining momentum with half chances for Corey O’Keefe and Jake Beesley which are well blocked, 0-0

37′ The game seems to have lost its fluidity as both sides continue to make fouls causing the game to lose it’s rhythm- Rochdale appear more likely to score the opening goal of the game at the moment, 0-0

42′ Notts County ending the half strong with an effort from Ruben Rodrigues’ effort destined for the net is blocked by the rushing Rochdale bodies, 0-0

45′ GOAL FOR ROCHDALE! O’Keefe with a beautiful strike into the top right corner to give Rochdale the lead on the stroke of half time, 1-0

HALF TIME- ROCHDALE 1 NOTTS COUNTY 0

SECOND HALF KICKS OFF

49′ Rochdale bring their momentum into the second half as Odoh looks to double their lead but his effort goes wide of the far post, 1-0

52′ Notts Country with their first chance of the half as Callum Roberts fires a powerful effort from the edge of the box but the shot is blocked, 1-0

53′ Rochdale reply quickly with a long range effort but it sails harmlessly over the bar, 1-0

58′ Both keepers staying busy with two great saves after quick succession- You sense a goal could come for either side at the moment, 1-0

59′ SUBSTITUTION FOR NOTTS COUNTY- Aaron Nemane replaces Dion Kelly Evans

61′ The substitute Nemane looking to make an early impact with a shot on goal but his effort is blocked, 1-0

62' GOAL FOR NOTTS COUNTY- Kyle Wooten equalises with a superb header from a corner- We're all square at the Crown Oil Arena, 1-1

64′ SUBSTITUTION FOR ROCHDALE- Conor Grant replaces Stephen Dooley

74′ The game has been quiet since the equaliser, with Notts County’s Matthew Palmer with a half chance but it’s high and wide, 1-1

78′ SUBSTITUTION FOR NOTTS COUNTY- Frank Vincent replaces Callum Roberts

81′ Rodrigues takes a shot from range for Notts County but his effort keeps on rising, 1-1

85′ BOOKING FOR NOTTS COUNTY- Kyle Cameron goes into the book for a late challenge, 1-1

89′ BOOKING FOR ROCHDALE- The goalscorer O’Keefe receives a yellow, 1-1

92′ Anthony Patterson with a brilliant instinctive save to deny a Eoghan O’Connell a late winner for Rochdale, 1-1

94′ FULL TIME- ROCHDALE 1 NOTTS COUNTY 1

Notts County earn a replay against Rochdale in the first round of the FA Cup, after an even game with Corey O’Keefe taking the lead just before half time and a second half equaliser from Kyle Wooten.
