The supposed home side have made two changes from their side from their last game. Dayot Upamecano and Tyler Adams are now in the team replacing Willi Orbán and Yussuf Poulsen.

This is the first start for Upamecano since his transfer to Bayern Munich was confirmed for the end of the season. The German side will hope that the young centre back isn’t distracted for the game.

Julian Nagelsmann is known for tinkering with his team consistently which means it will be difficult for Liverpool to prepare for this game.

Liverpool have made one change from their defeat to Leicester at the weekend, Thiago is in replacing James Milner in midfield. Liverpool has been on a terrible run of form losing five of their last seven games.

The reigning English champions know that the Champions League is their best chance of winning a trophy this season.

Last season Leipzig was able to progress from the last 16 stage beating another English side Tottenham, where Liverpool’s hopes in retaining the Champions League ended after losing to Spanish side Atlético Madrid.

Liverpool will be hoping to do better this season and progressing in the competition which would bring some light to what has been a dark season for Klopp and his side.

Tonight’s game will be kicking off in a few minutes as both teams are coming out for the start of the game.
