Home   /   Ravens look to assert dominance against struggling Steelers

One of the fiercest rivalries in the NFL returns October 8th, as the Baltimore Ravens welcome the Pittsburgh Steelers to M&T Bank Stadium.

Currently sitting atop of the AFC North, the Ravens will be wanting to take their record to 4-1 with a win against Pittsburgh.

2019 MVP Lamar Jackson is off to a flying start in Todd Monken’s new look offense – coming off the back of a four touchdown performance in a 28-3 victory against the Cleveland Browns.

Pittsburgh haven’t had the same fate to start the season. Sitting at 2-2, Steelers fans will want to see fortunes change quickly after an embarrassing 30-6 loss to the Texans last week.

Roquan Smith is a player to watch for Baltimore. The Ravens linebacker is on pace to make 63 tackles resulting in a defensive stop and record eight sacks. Firmly placing himself in the Defensive Player of the Year conversation. Smith is also the second-highest PFF coverage grade among linebackers.

Ravens will be without Odafe Oweh and Daryl Worley due to ankle and shoulder injuries respectively. Star receiver, Odell Beckham Jr and cornerback Marlon Humphrey are also questionable. Steelers will be without Dan Moore Jr.

Baltimore have lost five of the previous six meetings with the Steelers. The all-time series record also swings in Pittsburgh’s favour, 33-25.
