Saudi Arabia are going to take on the superstar Robert Lewandowski just days after they shocked the giant Lionel Messi. The Green Falcons who marked the first surprising result of FIFA World Cup 2022 in Qatar, now have an eye on the chances of progressing to the knockout stage for the first time since 1994.

On the other side, Poland comes to this match following a disappointing opener they had against Mexico. Lewandowski was given a golden opportunity from the penalty spot, which he missed in a head-to-head clash against Guillermo Ochoa. Aware of their final fixture to be held against Argentina, Poland desperately need to earn all three points of the match against surprise group leaders.

Saudi Arabia’s full-back Yasser Al-Shahrani was reportedly flown home from the World Cup after successful jaw surgery. The captain Salman Al-Faraj is the other key absentee for the Asian team line-up as he got injured and subbed off in the previous match.

For Poland, both Krystian Bielik and Bartosz Bereszynski should be fit and available in this match, after they have been carrying knocks since Tuesday.

Poland: Szczesny, Bereszynski, Glik, Kiwior, Cash, Bielik, Krychowiak, Frankowski, Zielinski, Milik, Lewandowski.

Saudi Arabia: Al-Owais, Abdulhamid, Al-Amri, Al-Bulayhi, Al-Burayk, Al-Malki, Al-Buraikan, Al-Naji, Kanno, Salem Al-Dawsari, Al-Shehri.
