Oxford United will be looking to continue a great run of form as they host Bristol Rovers at home in this Sky Bet League One clash. Currently sitting second in the league, Oxford are hunting for win number 9 of the season as they look to keep up the fight with Portsmouth at the top of the table.

Over the years this fixture has caused some quite heated battles and former U’s striker Matty Taylor was at the brunt of those, as he left Bristol Rovers to join rivals Bristol City back in 2017 before he made his way to Oxford, However with his Oxford exit this summer coach Liam Manning is sure his players will keep their composure stating to the press that “so many of the players in this group have progressed in that area”. He also said “I want players that are emotional and have heart in their performance, but I want them to control it”
