Manchester United travel to Spain to play against Real Sociedad at the Reale Arena, knowing they must win by two or more goals to go above Sociedad and win their Europa League group.

Real Sociedad boss Imanol Alguacil says that his side will to “everything possible” to win the group, but also admits they are glad they have qualified out of the group, “When the draw came out, we all would have taken getting through.” He believes his side will have to go out with the mindset to win the game, or they will fail to do so, “If we go out to speculate, to think that a draw is enough, that losing by the minimum is enough, we are going to lose and we are not going to be first in the group.”

Erik Ten Hag says his team is a “different team” from the one that faces Sociedad back in September, and they are “growing, developing, making good progress.” When asked about the quality of teams dropping from the Champions League, including the likes of Juventus, Barcelona and Sevilla, Ten Hag said “you face heavy opponent but we like those challenges. If you want to win the trophy then you have to beat them all.”
