Manchester City produced “one of [their] best performances” at Old Trafford, according to Man of the Match Bernardo Silva.
A brace from Erling Haaland and a late strike from Phil Foden guided City to a comfortable victory against Manchester United.
Speaking to Sky Sports, Bernardo said, “We were fabulous, we’re so happy because it’s not easy to play here at Old Trafford.
“It is definitely one of the best wins. To win 3-0 away with this crowd, I think it is definitely one of the best performances.”
Bernardo starred with a magnificent display, and Haaland, stood with Bernardo, showed his affection for the Portuguese.
“I love you, just like Pep does”.
“We are in love [with him]”, said City manager Pep Guardiola to Sky Sports, “he’s irreplaceable”.
Man United manager Erik ten Hag, speaking to Sky Sports, said his team “played very well” in the first half.
“The first half we played very good, we defended very well. We had good breaks, good opportunities but we could have taken more benefit. Then the penalty changes the game.
“We had to go offensive in the second half, we wanted to be more compact. We know they would press us, go high and direct”.
