The Rooks take on the Norwegian side from the capital in the opening fixture for both in the Fenix Trophy at the Dripping Pan on the 7th of November

The Fenix Trophy campaign for Lewes FC begins on Tuesday at home against FC Oslo. This will the second match in Group D of the competition, the first one between KSK Beveren and the visitors ending 1-nil to the Belgian side. Lewes will be debuting in this competition and will look to start off on a winning note.

The East Sussex outfit come off the back of a two nil loss away to Margate. Lewes have been a mixed bag this season with five wins, three losses and a draw in their last match. FC Oslo have achieved promotion to the 3rd division in their last match against Stovnersportsklubb defeating them four nil. Andy Nordby chipped in with a brace to crown FC Oslo as champions for the fifth time of the fourth division.

Manager Tony Russell will look to take inspiration from his side’s recent FA Cup first round win away to Dulwich. Lewes did dominate in their last match against Margate and arguably should have drawn, the squad should look to bounce back from that dismal result. The Dripping Pan dares to dream about European success from Tuesday.
