Lewes 1-0 FC Oslo

In Lewes’ first European tie they look assured as the game was dominated by the Sussex club.

Particularly the performances of Ayo Olukoga and Deon Moore in the first half helped Lewes to establish their control on the tie.

They were ever present and continually linked up on the right side of the pitch with Moore’s trickery being the catalyst for most of Lewes’ attacks.

This was capped off by Kalvin Lumbombo-Kalala who headed it in at the back post via a Moore run and cross which followed Kalala hitting the bar just minutes before.

The second half kicked off with it being more of an even affair as both sides saw a decent amount of the ball.

Oslo made multiple changes in this period but still struggled to create any good chances.

It was a cagey second half that saw a few injuries with young midfielder Archie Tamplin being stretchered off after being fouled.

Oslo looked better in possession but consistently lacked the quality desired to properly penetrate Lewes’ final third.

It is worth pointing out that both sides lost their last fixture but despite this Lewes looked a lot better value for the win.
