The Taegeuk Warriors found the net late on through substitute Paik Seung-ho, but four unanswered first half Brazil goals took the game far from South Korea’s reach. After the match, South Korea manager Paulo Bento spoke to the media about his future.

‘We just have to think about the future and it will not be with the national team of South Korea’ Bento said after the match.

‘I have just announced to the players and the president of the South Korean federation and this was a decision I had already taken since September’.

Bento leaves his role after four years of coaching the national side.

After the match, Brazil manager Tite spoke to the media about his celebration with Tottenham Hotspur’s Richarlison following the Selecao’s third goal of the evening.

‘I try to adapt to my players’ said Tite in his post-match press conference.

‘There are various people who will say it was disrespectful. I know there’s always a camera and I didn’t want it to be misinterpreted’.
