Drinking habits have changed during lockdown.

A survey from Alcohol Change UK has seen trends about the alcohol consumption in Covid-19. More than a quarter of participants have said they were drinking more than usual during lockdown, endangering their physical and mental health.

One in five people have admitted to drinking more during lockdown, equating to an estimated 8.6million UK adults consuming more alcohol than usual. And on a regular basis.

Following the announcement of a second lockdown, there are concerns that drinking will increase with further Covid-19 restrictions. But, help organisations are encouraging people to follow advice about their physical and mental health during this period.
