Match Preview: Manchester United

 Manchester United host in-form Brighton at Old Trafford on Sunday as Brighton look to make it three Premier League wins on the bounce.  

Brighton sit two points above the Red Devils as United were brought back down to Earth last weekend as they slumped to a 1-0 loss against Bournemouth. Typically of United of late, Bournemouth were able to score their first goal and pick up their first win in over a month. 

The two sides have met five times since Brighton were promoted to the top flight in 2017. United ran out winners in all three of the games played at Old Trafford, whilst Brighton also boast a 100% record at home to United, winning their last two home games 1-0 and 3-2 respectively.  

Team News 

United have Paul Pogba, Axel Tuanzebe, Luke Shaw, Diogo Dalot, Nemanja Matic and Angel Gomes still out injured, whilst Victor Lindelof and Scott McTominay are risks. Ashley Young is suspended so could pave the way for Brandon Williams to make his Premier League debut. 

Brighton suffered a potential long term injury to Adam Webster last weekend against Norwich with Shane Duffy likely to replace him. Jose Izquierdo is also a long term inury.
