Pep Guardiola confirms that Manchester City will be without top-scoring frontman, Erling Haaland for tonight’s Champions League clash against Sevilla. Guardiola confirmed “tomorrow he is not available”.

The Norwegian may be fit for The Citizen’s Premier League tie against Fulham with Guardiola saying, “he feels better compared to Saturday and Sunday, but he is not 100% and we don’t want to risk”.

 Guardiola also stated he will rotate regarding team selection, saying “The players who haven’t played regularly will play, for sure. But let me see the training sessions today and tomorrow and we will see then”.

Sevilla manager Jorge Sampoali expects a tough match against a team that he thinks is “better than any other team in England.”

The newly appointed manager also stated, “They have not managed to win it (The Champions League) yet, but, from the way they play, they may have deserved to have won it more than once”.

The Argentine also lauded praise on his counterpart saying “I think he would make a huge difference to any team in the world”

 Despite the quality of his opponents, Sampaoli looks forward to tonight’s clash, saying “It is an opportunity to show we can compete against these teams”.
