Brave Quigg loses title fight

Tweet Report by Lee Saunders English featherweight Scott Quigg was beaten via a unanimous points decision by WBO Champion Oscar Valdez in Los Angeles on Saturday. Quigg, from Bury, was in a bad position going into the fight after failing Friday’s weigh-in, coming in more than 2 pounds over the featherweight limit, meaning that even with a win the WBO belt would stay with Valdez.
