Peacehaven & Telescombe back amongst the silverware

“Peacehaven & Telescombe took on Haywards Heath in the Sussex RUR Charity Cup Final”

“As the club looks to progress back to winning ways”

“Tell us about the Cup Final?”

“So, Haywards Heath, league above us we knew it was going to be a tough game and we ended up winning 3-0, it was a great result for us as a club”

“Do you think this is going bode well for the future?”

“I think it gets the fans on board for next season. It’s always good to have a big result towards the end of the season to give the fans something to think about over the break it should leave us in good stead for preseason”

Peacehaven & Telescombe were on the brink of extinction after a series on unpaid debts totalled up leaving the club needed to raise over £35,000 to stay afloat. The club successfully reached their target and become a community owned club in June 2016. They then went on to lift the Sussex RUR Charity Cup, their first piece of silverware since becoming a community club.
