Giant Peach enter last six of Firestone competition

By Richard Wardle

There is a new band in town that’s aiming to take Brighton and beyond by storm. Giant Peach, formed of four budding musicians, who met at the University of Sussex, have been filed down into the final six out of approximately 600 bands in Firestone’s Road to the Main Stage competition.

The members of Giant Peach; Matt, John, Stef and James are gearing up for their current tour of the UK, taking their own brand of alt-indie rock to the next level. This is not the first creative outing this quartet have collaborated on, however with Giant Peach the aim has been to take a more relaxed and passionate approach to their music.

Giant Peach have recently released a music video for their new single, Melatonin, set to the background of Brighton’s South Downs and have fond memories of playing gigs at local venues such as The Globe.

With this up-and-coming band of talented musicians reaching the last six of the Firestone competition, they need your support and votes to take them forward to the finals, check out their new single Melatonin below and be sure to cast your vote for Giant Peach in Firestone’s Road to the Main Stage competition right here.
