Eastbourne MPs clash over the important issues

Eastbourne parliamentary candidates clashed in a hustings held at the University of Brighton’s Eastbourne campus.

The debate saw political hopefuls Stephen Lloyd (Liberal Democrats), Caroline Ansell (Conservatives), Jake Lambert (Labour), Stephen Gander (Brexit Party) and Ken Pollock (Independent) be questioned by University of Brighton students and the general public.

The issues raised to the panel included Brexit, tuition fees and climate change.

The debate comes just before Eastbourne residents – and the rest of the UK – head to the polls to vote for a new Prime Minister.
